High End Examples

These are cutting edge motion design pieces. They are very engaging and can make long complex presentations watchable. They can stand alone as artistic pieces. They require artists with significant skill and time. While in general an individual artist could create these, it would be much easier and quicker with small team of 2-3 people. These would require After Effects, Maya, and other high-end video and audio production tools and equipment.

Medium End Examples

These examples are at a professional level. They have intricate camera moves and text animations. They are produced with a high aesthetic, and combine pictures, video, graphics, and type. They are compelling, and easier to watch. These require professionals to create, and should have relatively standard costs for artist time, and asset creation/purchases. Individuals and small teams could produce these with After Effects and Maya.

Low End Examples

These examples are okay. They work, they are clean, they get the message across without too many distractions. They are not particularly inspired. They are cheap to produce and just about anyone could do them.

Bad Examples

These examples are not hi-quality productions, and should be avoided if possible.  This is likely the quality of work you can expect from most students and amateurs. They lack artistic refinement. They are very cheap to make. All of these could be done easily in After Effects.
